Touchstone Exploration Reports Cascadura Well Testing Outcomes
Calgary-based Touchstone Exploration Inc. has completed testing on two wells, Cascadura-2ST1 and Cascadura-3ST1, in Trinidad and Tobago. Cascadura-2ST1 averaged a production rate of 4,950 boe/d during a 48-hour test, consisting mainly of natural gas and some NGLs. Initially analyzed gas shows no produced water, akin to previous wells.
The Cascadura-3ST1 reported 1,100 boe/d over 68 hours, producing mostly crude oil and a smaller volume of natural gas. The oil is medium API gravity with minimal water content. This well is expected to start continuous production shortly.
The promising test results suggest potential for further field development and additional cash flow. Touchstone's approach involves sustained infrastructure and strategic planning, aiming for productive expansion with the upcoming drilling initiatives.
