TK Elevator Appoints Lars Sjobring as Chief Legal Officer

TK Elevator (TKE), a leading company in elevator and urban mobility solutions, has announced the creation of a new executive position, Chief Legal Officer (CLO). Lars Sjobring will assume this role in May 2026, marking a significant step in TKE's strategic development. Sjobring, with over 20 years of international legal expertise, will report directly to CEO Uday Yadav, focusing on global governance and risk management.

Yadav emphasized the necessity of the CLO role for achieving TKE's 2030 Strategy, stating, "Lars’s extensive background will be invaluable." Previously, Sjobring served as SVP at SSAB AB and held senior roles at Veoneer Inc., Autoliv Inc., and Transocean Ltd. He brings a robust legal background, including leadership in M&A legal at Nokia.

In his new position, Sjobring aims to fortify TKE’s legal functions and collaborate closely with the business units to support long-term objectives. His diverse international experience is expected to be a significant asset for the company’s future endeavors.
