thyssenkrupp nucera has been awarded the Hydrogen Impact Investment Award in the category “Impact Technology of the Year 2024” for its water electrolysis technology. This is the second consecutive year the company has received this recognition. The award was presented at the "Investing in Green Hydrogen" summit in London.
Alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) is crucial for green hydrogen production and sustainable energy. Dr. Werner Ponikwar, CEO of thyssenkrupp nucera, emphasized the technology's role in achieving global climate targets and promoting an energy-efficient economy.
The expert jury acknowledged thyssenkrupp nucera's contributions to hydrogen technology. The company introduced its scalum® product last year, which features 20 MW modules used in large-scale projects like H2 Green Steel in Sweden.
