Thyssenkrupp nucera Announces Acquisition of Key Assets from Green Hydrogen Systems

Thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA has announced an agreement to acquire key technology assets from the Danish company Green Hydrogen Systems A/S, known for its expertise in pressurized alkaline electrolysis. This acquisition aligns with thyssenkrupp nucera's strategy to drive innovation and reinforce its presence in the global green hydrogen sector.

The transaction includes intellectual property and a test facility with a full-size prototype in Skive, Denmark. The purchase will be funded entirely from existing liquid assets, and the exact financial details remain confidential.

Completion of the deal depends on several conditions, including approval from a court-appointed trustee, creditor consent, and necessary regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to conclude by late summer 2025.
