PolyU Advances Global Innovation with Strategic MoU in Paris

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has formed a strategic partnership with Dassault Systèmes and PAIEvo, a subsidiary of XtalPi Holdings, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Paris. This collaboration aims to enhance research innovation and talent development across continents. Marking PolyU's first establishment of an innovation hub in Europe, the agreement highlights the university's commitment to advancing global technology initiatives.

The agreement involves several initiatives, such as digitalising smart laboratories, expanding R&D in new materials, and fostering cross-sector synergies. The partnership, beginning in 2003 as a software collaboration, has steadily evolved into a comprehensive relationship. The recent establishment of the Dassault Systèmes–PolyU Center of Excellence in the Asia-Pacific region is a testament to this growth.

PolyU also plays a significant role in attracting global enterprises to Hong Kong, facilitating Dassault Systèmes' establishment there with support from local authorities. During their visit to Dassault’s Paris headquarters, PolyU delegates engaged in discussions about future collaborative strategies.
