The Highlight Group Publishes Results for First Quarter of 2024

The Highlight Group released its financial results for the first quarter of 2024, noting a slight decline in performance compared to the previous year.

Key metrics showed a consolidated sales figure of CHF 78.7 million, down CHF 2.4 million from the previous year's figure. The company's equity ratio decreased from 26.8% to 25.5%. EBIT fell to CHF -5.9 million, compared to CHF -5.6 million in the same quarter of 2023.

The decline in sales is attributed primarily to the film production segment, with capitalized production costs increasing by CHF 2.5 million year-over-year. However, the net loss improved from CHF -9.5 million to CHF -8.3 million over the same period.

Operating expenses remained largely unchanged, increasing only slightly by CHF 0.7 million year-over-year to CHF 115.4 million. Equity remained stable at CHF 160.4 million compared to the end of 2023.
