The Fresh Factory Reports Second Consecutive Quarter of Positive EBITDA in Q2 2024
The Fresh Factory B.C. Ltd. (TSXV:FRSH)(FRA:Q4Z) announced another successful quarter, achieving positive EBITDA of $0.3M (CAD $0.4M) for Q2 2024. This marks the company's second consecutive quarter of positive EBITDA. Year-to-date (YTD) EBITDA reached $0.6M (CAD $0.8M), contrasting with a loss of ($1.5M) (CAD ($2.1M)) in H1 2023.
Quarterly revenue was reported at $7.3M (CAD $10.1M), with YTD revenue of $15.6M (CAD $21.3M), reflecting a 26% YoY and 39% YTD increase. The company's new 56,000-square-foot facility in Downers Grove, Illinois, is aimed at enhancing manufacturing capabilities.
CEO Bill Besenhofer emphasized the company's strategic growth and operational efficiency. Financial highlights include quarterly billed revenue of $7.4M (CAD $10.1M) for Q2 2024, a 26.2% increase from Q2 2023. Adjusted gross margins increased by 60.6%, reaching $2.8M (CAD $3.8M).
The Fresh Factory also announced leadership updates with Carl Purnell promoted to COO and Donna Duwe appointed as Executive VP of Sales.
