Tarku Resources Ltd Announces New Mineral Claims Acquisition in Quebec

Tarku Resources Ltd (TSXV: TKU) has recently acquired promising mineral claims in the Abitibi region of Quebec. This move increases the company's holdings to 100% ownership of nine exploration projects in Quebec, covering an area of 19,701 hectares, and its Silver Strike project in Arizona. The acquisition adds to Tarku's diverse portfolio, which includes commodities like gold, silver, copper, zinc, lithium, manganese, and nickel.

Julien Davy, President and CEO of Tarku, highlighted the Abitibi Greenstone Belt's global prospectivity, emphasizing the strategic acquisition of additional land at low costs due to current market conditions. The Calypso project, one of the newly acquired projects, is located 20 km south of Matagami and offers significant gold potential, as indicated by minimal previous exploration and promising results from neighboring ventures. Tarku plans to commence exploration activities on this project in 2024.

Another acquisition, the Barmat project, is situated 7km northeast of Barraute and close to the Abcourt-Barvue Silver-Zinc deposit. This proximity to an established deposit with proven and probable reserves suggests the project's potential for significant mineral discoveries.
