Talis Group acquires Aston, IT and digital training specialist

The Talis Group is expanding its network of schools and diversifying its training offering

Par Rémy EISENSTEIN - The Talis Group, a network of post-baccalaureate schools with nearly 8,000 students, announced that it has signed agreements to acquire Aston, a school specializing in training for IT and digital professions, and more particularly cybersecurity.

Aston offers training to professionals and private higher education, initially positioned on continuing professional training, the company has gradually diversified its offer by offering apprenticeship training (Bac +2 to Bac +5). Aston today has nearly 900 students across 3 campuses, in Arcueil, Lille and Paris.

This acquisition allows the Talis Group, chaired by Yves Hinnekint, to expand its network of local schools, benefiting from Aston's strong local roots in Lille and Paris. This geographic development is accompanied by a diversification of its training catalog, with the addition of a high value-added digital offering which will be deployed on all of the Group's campuses.

Aston and Talis share the ambition to sustainably support students in their professional integration, through training of a good academic level adapted to the needs of companies.

Jean-François Castelluccia, Managing Director of Aston, declared that this new alliance with a training expert will make it possible to benefit from obvious commercial and operational synergies with Talis Education Group and to pool know-how in a market where competition is exacerbated.

Yves Hinnekint, president of the Talis Group, added that this merger with Aston is obvious for Talis, both on a territorial level and in terms of the complementarity of the training offers, the raison d'être and the commitment of the teams.
