Swiss Re Proposes New Board Members for Election

Swiss Re has announced its proposal to elect Morten Hübbe and George Quinn as new members of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for April 11, 2025. This decision follows the departure of Philip Ryan and Sir Paul Tucker, who will not seek re-election.

Morten Hübbe brings significant industry experience, having served as Group CEO of Tryg, Scandinavia's largest non-life insurer. He is currently the Chairman of the Board at several companies, including Trustly and Siteimprove.

George Quinn has an extensive background with Zurich Insurance Group and Swiss Re, where he previously held leadership roles. His professional journey began at KPMG in London.

Swiss Re's Chairman, Jacques de Vaucleroy, expressed gratitude for the outgoing members' dedication and acknowledged the new candidates' valuable expertise in insurance.
