SÜSS MicroTec Raises Full-Year 2024 Guidance Following Strong First Half-Year Performance
Garching, July 18, 2024 – SÜSS MicroTec SE has increased its full-year 2024 forecast after a positive second quarter. Sales for Q2 2024 reached € 99.3 million, summing up to € 192.8 million for the first half of 2024.
Preliminary figures show a gross profit margin of 40.5% for the second quarter, with an EBIT margin of 15.3%. For the first half of 2024, these figures are 39.8% and 15.6%, respectively.
The Management Board has updated its outlook for key financial figures. Sales are now expected to be between € 380 to 410 million, up from the earlier projection of € 340 to 370 million. The gross profit margin is revised to 38-40% from 35-38%, and the EBIT margin is now forecasted at 14-16%, up from 10-12%.
Order intake for Q2 2024 stood at € 93.9 million, totaling € 192.2 million for the first half. The full financial report for H1 2024 will be published on August 7, 2024.
