Surgical Solutions IPA Announces Its Formation

Surgical Solutions IPA (SSIPA), an independent practice association of ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) in New York, has announced its formation.

Founded by healthcare executive Gregg Gordon, SSIPA aims to support ASCs facing financial challenges. ASCs are increasingly performing surgical procedures in outpatient settings, offering high-quality care at lower costs.

Gregg Gordon stated that ASCs provide an alternative to traditional hospital outpatient locations, benefiting many healthcare stakeholders. Previously, ASCs operated independently, limiting their potential. SSIPA unites key providers to combat rising medical costs and enhance key performance metrics.

SSIPA offers a platform for ASCs marginalized in healthcare, aiming to reshape outpatient surgery dynamics for providers and patients.
