Sun Peak Metals Updates Exploration Efforts Amid Regional Challenges

Sun Peak Metals Corp. has paused its exploration activities on the Shire VMS and gold Project in northern Ethiopia, aligning with the start of the rainy season. The Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) survey, initiated in January 2025, faced delays due to regional political tensions but covered key areas on the Meli and Anguda Mineral Trends. These findings are crucial for refining drill targets for future exploration.

Despite regional challenges, Sun Peak identified new VMS and gold targets through geological mapping and rock sampling. The company remains committed to advancing the Shire Project, with plans to resume activities post-rainy season and once regional stability improves. Sun Peak also focuses on engaging with local stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for its exploration efforts.
