Successful launch of new bonds from Edisun Power Europe AG
Edisun Power Europe AG successfully launched new bond issues amounting to CHF 22.3 million. These funds will enable the development of a new large solar installation.
The 5-year bond loan, with an interest rate of 3.5%, was widely subscribed, reaching CHF 13 million from July 1, 2024. Investors in the previous 2% loan also had the opportunity to convert their assets, with more than CHF 9.3 million already reinvested.
The flagship project, named "Sadino", located near Lisbon, will increase Edisun's capacity by more than 25%. Its construction will begin by the end of 2024. The installation will produce more than 44 GWh of solar power annually. Studies for a battery storage system are also underway.
Edisun's half-year results will be published on August 30, 2024.
