OBI Enhances Operations with VusionGroup Technologies
German DIY retailer OBI is advancing its retail operations through VusionGroup's digital solutions in over 200 stores in Germany. This initiative, announced on November 26, 2025, aims to modernize OBI's in-store processes. VusionGroup's technologies, including smart electronic shelf labels and VusionCloud platform, will optimize operations, allowing employees to focus more on customer service. This move streamlines price changes and reduces manual tasks.
OBI's Senior Expert, Stefanie Kristes, emphasizes that this partnership enhances customer experience and positions OBI as an innovator in the DIY sector. VusionGroup's SEVP EMEA, Sébastien Fourcy, highlights this collaboration as a significant advancement in their Vusion '27 plan.
Furthermore, OBI will integrate VusionGroup's ESLs with its existing Cisco-Meraki infrastructure, requiring no additional hardware.
