STIF strengthens its position in Asia through major BESS contracts
On February 9, 2026, STIF, an expert in explosion protection, announced significant commercial successes in Asia in the battery energy storage systems (BESS) sector. Recent orders demonstrate the growing momentum of its Explosion Energy division.
Tesla, a long-standing partner, renewed its global business volume, boosted in Asia thanks to its Shanghai megafactory. In addition, Sungrow secured recurring orders in Thailand. STIF also obtained a significant contract with Trinasolar.
These projects will be managed by the Suzhou plant in China, known for its high technical capabilities. STIF has also obtained ATEX certification for its Vigifold Slide explosion-proof panel, confirming its technological leadership.
