S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Launches Seventh Competition Edition
On February 16, 2026, the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy opened applications for its seventh edition of the competition. The event seeks to identify and support emerging culinary talents under the age of 30 worldwide. For four months, young chefs can apply to showcase their skills and creativity on an international stage.
The competition is not just about culinary prowess; it offers a platform for professional growth through mentoring and networking with esteemed gastronomic figures. The participants are divided into 15 regions, competing in Regional Finals, with winners proceeding to the Grand Finale.
This year, the Academy introduces a mentorship initiative. The 2024-25 global winner, Ardy Ferguson, will engage in a mentorship with chefs Julien Royer and Jeremy Chan. The initiative aims to provide substantial guidance and inspiration for aspiring chefs.
Applications are accepted until June 9, 2026, where young chefs present a dish reflecting their beliefs and skills. Regional winners will advance to present to an esteemed Grand Jury.
