Southern Energy Corp. Announces Interest Payment in Shares and Delisting from OTCQX
Southern Energy Corp. has disclosed its decision to provide interest payments in the form of shares to holders of its 10% convertible unsecured subordinated debentures. The payment, accruing interest valued at CAD$214,300, is due on December 31, 2024. This will be settled by issuing a total of 2,143,000 new common shares, calculated at CAD$0.10 per share based on recent trading prices. These shares are expected to be admitted for trading on AIM by January 3, 2025.
The company also announced the voluntary delisting of its shares from the OTCQX, effective January 13, 2025. Southern Energy's shares will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange and the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange.
