A.D.A.M. Innovations and SOPHiA GENETICS Collaborate on Liquid Biopsy Testing in Japan
A.D.A.M. Innovations, a premier genetic testing firm in Japan, has formed a strategic partnership with SOPHiA GENETICS, an AI technology company, to enhance liquid biopsy genomic testing in Japan. This collaboration aims to commercialize a liquid biopsy diagnostic to improve personalized cancer care.
The partnership will introduce a liquid biopsy application, MSK-ACCESS®, leveraging SOPHiA DDM™ to detect genomic alterations through a single blood draw. A.D.A.M. Innovations will conduct local testing, expediting turnaround times and lowering patient costs. The companies also plan to develop a companion diagnostic, potentially accelerating drug development and expanding access to high-quality tumor profiling.
Announced at the ESMO Congress in Berlin, this initiative marks a milestone in making precision oncology more accessible across Japan.
