Somec S.p.A. Secures Significant Marine Contracts

Somec S.p.A. has strengthened its market position with significant order intakes in its marine segment, confirming contracts worth over €57 million with a leading Finnish shipyard. These extend previous agreements announced in late 2024 and early 2025, covering innovatively designed balcony systems for three cruise ships. Deliveries are planned between 2028 and 2030, with economic impacts from 2026.

Furthermore, Somec reported additional contracts totalling over €110 million with Fincantieri and Chantiers de l'Atlantique for major cruise lines. Deliveries span from 2027 to 2028, impacting the company's financials notably during these years. These include complete balcony modules and sliding window frames for numerous cabins.

Somec's subsidiary, Oxin, will provide turnkey kitchen solutions for Japan's Ryobi Holdings and the Viking fleet, further enhancing its business prospects. These developments secure substantial backlog and economic stability for Somec through 2033.
