Sokoman Reports Promising Veining in Moosehead Gold Project

Sokoman Minerals Corp. has shared updates from its Moosehead Gold Project in central Newfoundland. The company is focusing on extracting bulk samples, with the first sample using conventional drill and blast methods in the Western Trend. They are awaiting gold assay results from 28 holes due to lengthy lab turnaround times.

Timothy Froude, CEO of Sokoman, highlighted their progress, particularly with the Western Trend bulk sample. Notable quartz veining, containing visible gold, has been exposed, a key step for the project's development.

The Western Trend sample involves drilling short holes in three areas, selecting Area C for a 2,700-tonne sample. Preliminary observations show abundant mineralization with visible gold. Final dimensions will be decided after sampling and mapping.

In partnership with Novamera Inc., the Eastern Trend's Footwall Splay will also undergo bulk sampling. Novamera's rig, available in June 2025, will use leftover material from the Western sample, optimizing time and cost.
