Sokoman Minerals Commences 2024 Exploration Program at the Fleur de Lys Gold Project, Northwestern Newfoundland

Sokoman Minerals Corp., a TSXV and OTCQB-listed company, announced the initiation of its 2024 exploration program at the Fleur de Lys gold project. This program began ahead of schedule, assisted by an early snowmelt in the Baie Verte Peninsula. The exploration focus is initially on the Golden Bull Prospect, discovered in late 2023, where high gold grades have been identified from rock samples.

The Golden Bull area, featuring high-grade gold samples, is part of a larger region defined by its anomalous geochemistry. The company has deployed a crew to identify drill targets, with a planned 2,000-meter drilling program set for the third quarter of 2024. This drilling will primarily test surface anomalies in the Golden Bull area, aiming to delineate the Phase 1 drill targets.

Timothy Froude, President and CEO at Sokoman, expressed optimism regarding the early start of the field program, which allows more efficient data collection to advance exploration efforts. The company aims to further investigate the unexplained geochemical anomalies across the property as part of their 2024 strategic objectives.
