SMA Solar Technology AG Announces Positive Q2 2026 Results and Updates Annual Guidance

SMA Solar Technology AG has reported preliminary results for the second quarter of 2026, showing notable financial improvements. The company's revenue reached €345.7 million, with EBITDA rising to €64.7 million, surpassing both analyst expectations and the figures from Q2 2025. EBIT also saw an increase to €51.5 million, driven by timely tariff refunds and successful inventory sales initiatives. Adjustments in the Home & Business Solutions division contributed positively, leading to a significant reversal of previous inventory write-downs.

Excluding these one-time effects, group revenue for Q2 2026 would've been €368.0 million. Boosted by favorable market conditions and stronger foreign exchange rates, SMA has revised its 2026 full-year guidance upwards.
