SkyWatch Unveils New Platform and EXPLORE Application for Geospatial Data

SkyWatch Space Applications Inc., headquartered in Kitchener, ON, announced its new platform strategy alongside five new solutions to be released throughout 2024. Central to this announcement is the debut of the SkyWatch EXPLORE application, designed for discovering and purchasing geospatial data. This platform offers essential infrastructure for data providers and developers.

The newly launched EXPLORE application features a user-friendly interface, enabling users to easily access satellite imagery and other geospatial data. It is available for initial exploration without the need for immediate account creation.

Additional solutions built on the SkyWatch platform include HUB for large organizations, MAP for GIS professionals, BUILD for developers, and CONNECT for data providers. These solutions collectively facilitate the sourcing, management, integration, and distribution of geospatial data across diverse applications and workflows.

SkyWatch also introduced a refreshed brand identity. CEO James Slifierz emphasized the company's commitment to democratizing geospatial data access, aiming to integrate it seamlessly into everyday products and services. The platform opens up internal API services, empowering users to develop their own geospatial data-powered applications.
