Sky Gold Secures Drill Rig for Evening Star Property in Nevada

Sky Gold Corp. has announced the acquisition of a diamond drill rig for its Evening Star property in Nevada's Walker Lane gold district. The upcoming drill program will explore the Tower Gold target, a previously undrilled high-grade gold zone. The Evening Star property also contains historic mine adits and multiple gold and copper targets, including the Golden Bomber, formerly permitted for drilling in 2021.

The Golden Bomber Target encompasses the historic Golden Bomber and Golden Eagle mines. In 2017, sampling returned gold values up to 25.90 g/t, silver up to 318.0 g/t, and copper at peaks of 6.14% from surface samples. These findings serve to underline the prospectivity of the entire property.

Sky Gold intends to renew its drill permit application for the Golden Bomber to explore multiple gold zones further. The area features complex geological formations such as granodiorite-hosted mineralization along with limonitic fractures and quartz-calcite veining.
