Sky Gold Corp Commences Exploration Program in Northwestern Ontario
VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / June 5, 2024 / Sky Gold Corp (TSX.V:SKYG, OTC PINK:SRKZF) has initiated its spring exploration program on the Consolidated Shebandowan property in Northwestern Ontario. This effort focuses on two high-priority targets: the Mingold Au Soil anomaly and a significant Ni-Cu-Co-Cr-PGE anomaly, covering a total area of 5,894 hectares.
The property is located 70 km west of Thunder Bay and 6 km southwest of the former Shebandowan mine, known for its magmatic nickel sulphide deposits. Current exploration activities include detailed geochemical sampling, geological mapping, and prospecting to define and localize targets.
The program includes a till geochemistry survey conducted by ALS Global. Results will guide follow-up work, such as trenching and drilling. The company aims to complete sampling within two weeks, with results to follow shortly after.
