ATHA Energy Announces Board Changes and Share Issuance
ATHA Energy Corp., a prominent uranium exploration company, has announced a change in its Board of Directors. Richard Pearce resigned from the board effective August 31, 2026, to pursue other opportunities. Pearce, who joined the board in April 2024, played a vital role in ATHA's significant transactions with Latitude Uranium and 92 Energy Ltd., contributing to the company's global success in uranium exploration.
In response to Pearce's departure, ATHA has appointed Erinn Broshko as the chair of the Compensation Committee and Suraj Ahuja has joined the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Additionally, the company issued 340,136 common shares to Queen's Road Capital Investment Ltd. as interest payment on a convertible debenture valued at $25 million. This transaction reflects ATHA's ongoing financial arrangements to support its growth and exploration initiatives.
