ATHA Energy Advances with Angilak Uranium Project Exploration
ATHA Energy Corp has announced the completion of mobilization for its 2025 exploration program at the Angilak Uranium Project in Nunavut. The company is conducting detailed ground gravity and electromagnetic surveys along the 31 km Rib-Nine Iron Trend. These efforts aim to target shallow, high-grade uranium mineralization.
The Rib-Nine Iron Trend, within the Angikuni Basin, shows promising results from historical drilling, with grades reaching up to 5.6% U3O8. The area features multiple targets along its western, northern, and eastern margins. Additionally, historical sampling at the KU Discovery within the basin returned grades as high as 30.7% U3O8.
ATHA plans to commence its drilling activities by early June. The company's extensive portfolio and systematic exploration efforts aim to capitalize on the region's uranium potential, potentially redefining its importance globally.
