Shell Recharge and SINEXCEL Open Joint Innovation Lab for EV Charging

Shell Recharge and SINEXCEL have inaugurated a Joint Innovation Lab in Shenzhen, solidifying their collaboration to enhance EV charging technologies. The new facility reflects a commitment to integrate Shell's global expertise with SINEXCEL's proficiency in power electronics. Their Memorandum of Understanding aims to address sector challenges and promote sustainable energy solutions.

The lab will focus on five strategic areas: ultra-fast charging, energy management, renewable energy integration, heavy-duty infrastructure, and smart maintenance technologies. Evan Li of Shell E-Mobility sees it as a step towards transforming R&D into practical applications, while SINEXCEL's Kecheng Guo emphasizes the synergistic benefits of their partnership.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in promoting sustainable mobility and a more efficient energy ecosystem. The companies intend to leverage the lab to expand technical capabilities and application scenarios for EV charging globally.
