Silver Spruce Resources and Aroland First Nation Complete Archeological Study for Melchett Lake Project

Silver Spruce Resources Inc. (TSXV:SSE) and Aroland First Nation announced the completion of an independent Phase 1 archeological and cultural study on the Melchett Lake area. The report, prepared by Western Heritage, has been reviewed and accepted by Aroland and submitted to the Ontario Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport as a licensing condition.

The study allows for a deeper understanding of the historical, cultural, and spiritual significance of Melchett Lake and ensures that Aroland's values are documented before any exploration activities commence. This collaboration aligns with an exploration agreement between Silver Spruce and Aroland.

Following the receipt of an exploration permit on January 14, 2022, Silver Spruce retained Western Heritage for the assessment. Melchett Lake is located in the Thunder Bay Mining District, northwest Ontario. Additionally, Silver Spruce received a multi-year exploration permit for the Iron Key Project, encompassing the Melchett Lake claims.

Greg Davison, Silver Spruce VP Exploration and Director, expressed satisfaction with the permits, noting the company's commitment to advancing the project in a consent-based relationship with Aroland.
