Silver Spruce and Colibri Resource Secure Key Approvals for Diamante Project Drilling in Sonora, Mexico

Silver Spruce Resources Inc., in partnership with Colibri Resource Corp., has announced the receipt of the SEMARNAT environmental permit and land access agreements essential for their upcoming core drilling program at the Diamante gold-silver project located in Sonora, Mexico. This permit enables the companies to proceed with their planned drilling activities slated for April 2024, marking a significant step forward in the exploration of the promising Diamante project.

The environmental permit, managed by GM Consultoría y Proyectos de Ingeniería Ambiental, authorizes seventeen drill sites over a 12-month period. This development is accompanied by the completion of geological mapping and other preparatory exploration activities. According to Silver Spruce Vice-President Exploration, Greg Davison, these advancements position the companies favorably for the upcoming drilling program.

The companies have also finalized a drilling contract with Diamond Drills Mexico S.A. de C.V. and have made arrangements for pad preparation ahead of drilling. The exploration strategy aims to build upon the encouraging results obtained from previous exploration efforts in 2022 and 2023. The Diamante property, stretching over 1,057 hectares, has not undergone any drilling before the companies' recent exploratory programs and showcases a variety of mineralization styles, including both precious and base metals.
