SIG Group AG: Strategic Update and 2025 Financial Guidance

SIG Group AG announced a strategic alignment following its board review post-AGM 2025. The company, a leader in sustainable aseptic system solutions for cartons, now aims to expand in the bag-in-box and spouted pouch sectors. To achieve this, SIG plans to streamline its portfolio, focusing on high-margin aseptic businesses, divest non-essential units, and boost operational efficiency. This transformation involves non-recurring charges estimated at €310-360 million pre-tax.

For 2025, SIG forecasts flat revenue growth amid challenging market conditions, adjusting its EBITDA margin to 24.0-24.5%, excluding transformation costs. SIG also decided to pause its cash dividend for 2025 to prioritize debt reduction.
