Siegfried Opens New Quality Control Lab in Minden

Siegfried AG has launched a new state-of-the-art quality control lab in Minden, Germany. The advanced facility, spanning over 600 square meters, is designed to enhance operational efficiency and prepare for the upcoming large-scale production plant. It features workstations for 60 employees and high-precision equipment, integrating several quality control units to boost capacity and effectiveness.

The new lab will serve the quality control needs once the large-scale production plant, currently under construction, is completed. This plant will add approximately 100 cubic meters of reactor capacity, significantly boosting Siegfried's drug substance activities and technological capabilities.

Reto Suter, Siegfried's interim CEO and CFO, highlighted that the lab strengthens the Minden site and underscores the company's commitment to providing top-tier quality control services, ensuring product safety for millions of patients worldwide. The developments also reinforce Siegfried's operational footprint in Germany, where it operates two sites in Minden and Hameln.
