Semperit Reports Increased Profitability and Confirms 2024 Outlook

In the first three quarters of 2024, Semperit AG Holding improved its EBITDA by 11.9% to EUR 63.9 million, with earnings after tax increasing to EUR 7.1 million compared to a loss of EUR 26.8 million the year prior. The company's revenue slightly declined by 2.5% to EUR 506.6 million, but its EBITDA margin rose to 12.6%, attributed to a cost-cutting program initiated in early 2023.

The Semperit Group continues to focus on its industrial divisions, with Semperit Industrial Applications and Semperit Engineered Applications experiencing varied performances. Despite challenges, Semperit has maintained robust free cash flow, enhanced by the sale of its medical business, and reported an improvement from EUR 20.7 million to EUR 22.4 million.

CEO Karl Haider emphasized resilience in the face of market challenges, reinforcing strategic cost savings and investment in production expansion to bolster its market position. The group confirms its guidance for 2024, aiming for an EBITDA of about EUR 80 million.
