Schweizer Electronic AG Confirms Financial Performance and Positive Outlook for 2024

Schweizer Electronic AG released its annual financial figures for 2023, showing a turnover rise to EUR 139.4 million, marking a 6.4% increase from the previous year. The growth primarily stemmed from strong Q4 performance, with overall sales of own production goods at EUR 93.8 million and sales from strategic partners totaling EUR 45.6 million.

The company's EBITDA reached EUR 47.4 million, buoyed by high income following the deconsolidation of Schweizer Electronic (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. in China. Adjusted EBITDA was EUR 8.9 million. The automotive sector, contributing 71% of total sales at EUR 98.9 million, primarily drove revenue, reflecting a 12.6% increase from 2022.

Looking forward to 2024, Schweizer anticipates sales between EUR 140 million and EUR 150 million, potentially surpassing the records set in 2023. EBITDA for the forthcoming year is forecasted to exceed EUR 10 million, with a focus on embedding technology in automotive applications being a significant growth driver. The balance sheet is expected to further stabilize, with projected equity ratios between 25 to 28%.
