Schletter Group Releases First Corporate Social Responsibility Report

On April 16, 2024, Schletter Group, a leading global manufacturer of solar mounting systems based in Kirchdorf/Haag, announced the publication of its inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. This publication outlines the company's commitments and actions towards sustainability for the year 2023, emphasizing their initiatives in ecological, economic, and social aspects.

Florian Roos, CEO of Schletter, highlighted that sustainability is deeply embedded in the company's philosophy, prompting them to voluntarily disclose their sustainability endeavors. The detailed 160-page report encompasses the company's global carbon footprint, sustainability measures, and adherence to international standards like the UN's SDGs, GRI's standards, and UNGC's principles. Key future goals include increasing the use of recycled packaging and materials and reducing product CO2 footprints.

Despite not being mandated by law to produce a CSR report, Schletter has committed to producing annual reports moving forward. This aligns with their strategy to enhance transparency and establish benchmarks in sustainability within the industry.
