SBTi Endorses Edenred's Ambitious Emission Reduction Goals

Edenred has received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its plans to cut carbon emissions by 2030 and 2050. This approval aligns Edenred with the Paris Agreement's goal to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.

Launched in 2022, Edenred's 'Beyond 22-25' plan targets Net-Zero Carbon by 2050. The company aims to decrease scope 1 and 2 emissions by 51.4% by 2030 and 90% by 2050, using 2019 as a baseline. Additionally, it plans a 55% reduction in scope 3 emissions per million EUR added value by 2030, and 97% by 2050.

Edenred's strategy includes reducing energy consumption, minimizing the environmental impact of IT resources, and supporting eco-friendly services. These efforts are part of a broader commitment to sustainable growth and collaboration with its network.
