Sartorius Extends Executive Board Tenure for Alexandra Gatzemeyer

At a recent meeting, the Supervisory Board of Sartorius AG decided to extend the tenure of Dr. Alexandra Gatzemeyer on the Executive Board until April 30, 2031. Gatzemeyer, who has a Ph.D. in chemistry and pharmacology, joined Sartorius in 2004 and became an Executive Board member in March 2023. She currently oversees the Lab Products & Services Division, which caters to pharmaceutical and academic research labs.

Sartorius is a key international player in life sciences and the biopharmaceutical industry, providing laboratory instruments, consumables, and bioprocess solutions. The company is based in Göttingen, Germany, and has a global presence with approximately 60 production and sales sites. In 2024, Sartorius achieved sales of around 3.4 billion euros, employing over 13,500 people worldwide.
