Sarama Resources Advancing Cosmo Gold Project Acquisition

On November 5, 2024, Sarama Resources Ltd. announced that Cosmo Gold Ltd shareholders approved Sarama's acquisition of a majority interest in the Cosmo Gold Project in Western Australia. This acquisition marks a major milestone, with completion anticipated in mid-November 2024. This project spans 580 km² and covers an unexplored greenstone belt, offering substantial opportunities for the company.

Sarama will initially acquire an 80% interest and can increase up to 100% in most areas of the project. The project is strategically located near significant gold-producing regions with 50 km of prospective strike length, indicating potential for future exploration.

The transaction received regulatory approval from both the Australian and Canadian exchanges. Sarama's ongoing soil geochemistry program aims to identify exploration targets, laying groundwork for potential expansion in the 2025 season.
