Sale of MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig to Johannesstift Diakonie

MediClin AG has announced the signing of the sales contract for the MEDICLIN Herzzentrum Coswig. The buyer, Johannesstift Diakonie, is a diakonale organization operating in the health and social sector, with a presence in Berlin and northeastern Germany, and managing 60 facilities across several federal states. MEDICLIN's CEO, Dr. Joachim Ramming, emphasizes that this sale places the clinic and its staff in a conducive environment. This transition comes amidst an upcoming hospital reform.

The clinic's employees have been informed by MEDICLIN's management about the change in ownership and the positive aspects of this development, particularly in terms of job security and the medical development potential of the clinic. The Medical Director of the clinic, PD Dr. Harald Hausmann, confirms the importance of this transition for the security of medical services and employment, and expresses optimism about the future of cardiac medicine in the region.

MEDICLIN, which employs around 10,000 people and manages various healthcare facilities, aims through this sale and in line with its corporate strategy, to further enhance its focus on medical rehabilitation.
