SAF-HOLLAND Acquires Italian Manufacturer Assali Stefen
Bessenbach, July 19, 2024. SAF-HOLLAND SE, a leading supplier of trailer and truck components, has acquired Assali Stefen Srl, an Italian manufacturer of axle and suspension systems based in Verona.
Assali Stefen is known for its development and production of chassis-related components for trailers and semi-trailers. The company employs around 70 people and operates a development and production site in Verona.
This acquisition expands SAF-HOLLAND's product portfolio and strengthens its industry position in the EMEA region and New Zealand. It complements previous acquisitions focused on special axles, such as KLL in 2016 and Tecma Srl recently. The integration is expected to create synergy effects through cross-selling and resource bundling.
The purchase price is in the lower double-digit million-euro range. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024.
