RAC Adopts Rubean SoftPOS Solution in the UK and Ireland

Rubean AG, a Munich-based FinTech company, has successfully implemented its SoftPOS app for RAC Ltd, a leading British automobile club. This rollout allows 2,300 RAC roadside assistance mechanics in the UK and Ireland to accept card payments via their mobile work devices. This advancement facilitates both immediate payments and future payment reservations directly at the breakdown site.

The project, completed within two months, was in partnership with global payment provider Fiserv and integrator Berg Regions. This makes RAC the first Rubean client connected through Fiserv's Internet Payment Gateway. This collaboration enables Rubean's app distribution beyond the USA, with US implementation in the final stages.
