Route1 Announces Q2 2024 Financial Results
Route1 Inc. has released its financial results for the second quarter of 2024. Revenue for Q2 2024 was CAD 3.484 million, a decrease from CAD 4.184 million in Q2 2023. The subscription and services revenue totaled CAD 888,000, down from CAD 1.159 million in the same quarter last year.
The company's gross profit for Q2 2024 stood at CAD 1.215 million, reflecting an increase from CAD 1.173 million in Q2 2023. However, the net loss for Q2 2024 amounted to CAD 328,000, an improvement from the CAD 625,000 loss reported in Q2 2023.
Route1 experienced an order surge from the U.S. Department of State, amounting to USD 443,000 for its PocketVault technology. This order is the largest since acquiring Spyrus Solutions in 2021. It will be fulfilled by the end of Q3 2024.
The company emphasized its focus on strengthening its sales pipeline and talent to achieve better stability in operating results. New hires, including Jeff Barnes, are expected to enhance the ALPR customer experience team and improve service offerings.
