Ringmetall Enters Scandinavian Market with Hutek Oy Acquisition

Ringmetall SE, a prominent packaging specialist, is expanding into the Scandinavian market by acquiring Hutek Oy. Based in Nastola, Finland, Hutek specializes in bag-in-box systems for dairy products. This acquisition, finalized on January 8, 2025, aims to integrate Hutek into the Ringmetall Group, enhancing its reach and expertise in Northern Europe.

Hutek, a family-owned business since 1988, has a strong foothold in eco-friendly packaging solutions. With approximately 15 employees, it reported revenues of about EUR 4 million in the previous year, aligning with the Group's average EBITDA margin. The acquisition underscores Ringmetall's strategy of growth through strategic takeovers of medium-sized family businesses.

Ringmetall plans to release preliminary business figures for 2024 and a financial outlook for 2025 on February 6, 2025. This move is anticipated to bolster the Group's position in the packaging market.
