RiC TV: New Era of TV Entertainment on Astra 19.2° East with Optimized Frequency

Your Family Entertainment AG (YFE) and ORS Group have formed a renewed partnership to enhance the broadcast of the popular free-to-air channel RiC TV in Europe. The channel has transitioned to a new frequency, 11,302 MHz, on the Astra 19.2° East satellite, while retaining its previous frequency until the end of 2024. This move symbolizes a significant improvement in the distribution strategy aimed at providing a high-quality viewing experience.

YFE has also revamped RiC TV's evening programming with calming series replacing the prior black screen radio plays. This adjustment focuses on allowing both young and adult viewers to relax before bedtime. To ensure a seamless transition to the new frequency, RiC TV will broadcast simultaneously on both frequencies until 2025.

This strategic shift reflects YFE and ORS's commitment to delivering first-rate entertainment and educational content for families. Furthermore, RiC TV has expanded its offerings by launching a high-definition version available to cable networks via IP stream, enhancing the overall viewer experience.
