Renault: Alliance between Mobilize and Autostrade per l’Italia

On May 13, 2025, Renault Group, through its Mobilize brand, and Autostrade per l'Italia (ASPI), through Free To X, finalized a strategic alliance. This collaboration aims to develop the fast-charging network in Italy. Mobilize acquired a significant stake in Free To X, integrating more than 110 charging stations, some of which deliver up to 400 kW. These stations, powered by renewable energy, are located at 50 km intervals on motorways, exceeding European standards.

This partnership reinforces both entities' commitment to a fast-charging network, also covering areas outside the ASPI highways. "We are facilitating the transition to electric mobility," comments Gianluca De Ficchy, CEO of Mobilize. The alliance aims to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles and boost recurring revenue for Renault Group.
