Record Sales Drive Strong Performance for Compagnie des Alpes

Compagnie des Alpes announced record half-year sales of €761 million for the first half of the 2023/24 financial year, marking a 12.2% increase from the previous year. EBITDA rose by 18.8% to €276.5 million, while net attributable income grew by 18.7% to €128 million.

Sales in the Ski Areas and Outdoor Activities division reached €496.9 million, up 14.3%, driven by an 8.6% increase in skier days and a 5.7% rise in revenue per skier. The Distribution & Hospitality division generated €96.5 million, a 2.9% increase, and Leisure Parks posted sales of €167.7 million, up 11.9%.

Operating income hit €188 million, a 24% increase, supported by controlled operating expenses and reduced energy costs. Free cash flow from operations totaled €254 million. The Group has raised its full-year EBITDA target to around €350 million, reflecting a 15% growth projection.
