REALITIES in negotiations to sell its subsidiary LWS Hospitality
On June 18, 2024, the REALITES group announced that it had entered into exclusive negotiations with PM Développement to sell its subsidiary LWS Hospitality. This operation, valued at 25 million euros, should be finalized in the second half of 2024, subject to the usual suspensive conditions and consultation with staff representative bodies.
This sale is part of REALITES' strategy to refocus on real estate. LWS Hospitality, specialized in the management of student residences and franchise hotels, will continue its development while benefiting from synergies with REALITES, which will retain a minority share in the capital.
The proceeds from the sale will strengthen REALITES' cash flow and support its transformation in the face of new market conditions. Philippe Menguy, president of LWS Hospitality, highlights the growth potential of the company, already operating 18 student residences and having several projects in progress.
