Rational AG Reports Encouraging First Half of 2024
Rational AG has announced positive results for the first half of 2024, achieving six-month sales revenues of 581.2 million euros. The company's iVario line increased by 11 percent, while the Asia region delivered strong growth. Despite mixed performance in Europe, overall EBIT margin rose to 25.6 percent.
The company's sales revenues for Q2 2024 reached 294.8 million euros, setting a new quarterly record. The significant reduction of orders on hand and stabilization in procurement contributed to this achievement. Asia saw a 13 percent growth, with notable advancements in China and Japan. North and Latin America observed a rise as well.
Gross margins improved to 58.9 percent, positively impacting the EBIT, which increased by 10 percent to 149.0 million euros. Rational AG also experienced a growth in employee numbers, now totaling 2,657.
