Rain Secures $250 Million in Series C Funding for Global Expansion

Rain, a major player in stablecoin-powered payments infrastructure, has raised $250 million in a Series C funding round, significantly increasing its valuation. The round was led by ICONIQ, pushing Rain's total funding to over $338 million and valuing the company at $1.95 billion.

This investment will enable Rain to expand its global presence and enhance its platform capabilities. The company aims to redefine payment systems by offering solutions that combine stablecoin technology with traditional payment methods. Rain's platform currently processes over $3 billion in transactions annually for more than 200 partners, including names like Western Union and Nuvei.

Rain plans to use the new capital to expand into key markets worldwide and invest in the development of new products. These efforts are aimed at making stablecoin-powered payments seamless and widely accessible.
